Our documentation explains LIFTdesigners calculations on the basis of EN 81.
The European norm for the construction and installation of traction and hydraulic elevators, en 81, forms the basis for all calculations of elevators. LIFTdesigner has specific tools to check whether main calculations are made according to en 81. However, we can not guarantee that all calculations are 100% correct, especially in regard to user defined components. Check these to make sure that the en 81 norm is fulfilled.
