LOI: Perfect BIM Properties

Select BIM Properties from predefined property sets like COBie and IFC4.

Many of the properties are preconfigured: For example values like door width and door height are automatically filled in.

If the BIM execution plan requires specific BIM property names, these can easily be added on a per project basis. This allows to complete the BIM model in DigiPara Liftdesigner before it gets exported as IFC.

LOD:  Predefinded Level Sheets

DigiPara Liftdesigner comes with a predefined configuration sheet for each Level of Development (LOD). These are the typical LOD values 100,200,300,350,400 and 500.

Moreover there is a LOD MAX level, in fact this is no real BIM level, but it helps DigiPara users to export the “maximum” geometrical model with the highest detail levels and geometry details.

IFC 4.0: Perfect IFC Export

DigiPara Liftdesigner now supports two different IFC exports: the legacy IFC 2.3 and IFC 4.0

The new IFC 4 exports has a perfect structuring of the data within the IFC file. This is very important for the architect and the builder. IFC 4 supports all LOD Level and contains the BIM properties.

The LDBIM file format has also been improved and also supports the new BIM properties. It is important to know, that the newest free DigiPara Elevatorarchitect update is required to support the new LDBIM file enhancements.

IfcOpeningElement: Wall Openings

The IFC 4 file also contains all required wall openings of your elevator. In the IFC standard this is represented by the IfcOpeningElement.

These might be door openings, pockets for hall buttons and display lanterns or ventilation openings, etc.

With this feature the architect can safely place the pockets and openings into his building design.
