They have a very high knowledege about lifts and can help you with:
- Making a buiding traffic analysis.
They use special elevator traffic analysis software, e.g. from Peters Research. - Calculate the number of lifts
- Define Speed and Payload
- Suggest manufacturer neutral dimensions.
This is important in early BIM phases, where the lift manufacturer is not yet defined. - Highrise Buildings require special considerations for vertical transport
