Meiller, ALGI, Danfoss, Kollmorgen and DigiPara present the latest innovations in CANopen, BIM, condition monitoring and modernization.

BIM for elevator companies

DigiPara was one of a total of five speakers in the elevator forums organized by Meiller Lift Doors in Munich. In addition, MEILLER Lift Doors, Kollmorgen Steuerungstechnik GmbH, ALGI and Danfoss presented their new products. The forums are held in several cities and countries throughout the year.

Andreas Fleischmann, CEO DigiPara AG, explains BIM tools and the influences of the coming BIM standardization to elevator component suppliers, elevator manufacturers, VT consultants and architects.
Andreas starts with asking “What is BIM?”. As we know, lots of elevator companies and architects have no idea about “Building Information Modelling (BIM)“ which is a method to optimize the planning, implementation and management of a building using a digital 3D BIM model. Andreas presents several BIM norms and BIM properties. He explains the urgency of different Levels of Development (LODs) as well as how to optimize the complete workflow from R&D to BIM with the help of DigiPara software.

The forecast will explain the attendees the urgency of BIM. Andreas will also present the DigiPara Liftdesigner Cloud – elevator components can be offered as 3D BIM models for all users worldwide!
